India tops the medal tally with six gold medals, Manu Bhaker has three gold medals

Junior World Cup Championship: India, led by Manu Bhaker, topped the medal tally at the ISSF Junior World Championships on Sunday by winning four of the six gold medals at stake. Earlier, the men’s 10m air rifle team won the gold medal. India got a silver medal in the women’s 10m air rifle team event. Hungary won the gold medal of this event. The women’s 10m air pistol team had earlier topped the qualification opening round with a score of 1722 from 180 targets. The team also topped the second round with 569 points. In the final, he faced Belarus, but the Indian shooters won the match.

In the men’s 10m pistol team event, the Indian shooters also managed to overcome the challenge from Belarus. In the women’s 10m Air Rifle team event, India’s Nisha Kanwar, Gina Khitta and Atmika Gupta topped the preliminary qualification round, but finished second in the second round behind Ejter Majoros, Ejter Danes and Lee Horvath of Hungary. The Hungarian team also proved superior to India in the final. The Indian team had to be content with the silver medal. Atmika Gupta along with Rajpreet Singh won the silver medal in the mixed team event in 10m Air Rifle.
