Tilak Varma showcased his exceptional form by becoming only the second Indian player to score back-to-back centuries in T20 internationals. He achieved this milestone during the fourth match against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, smashing a remarkable 100 off just 41 deliveries. This feat follows his maiden T20I century in the third match in Centurion.

Tilak now shares this rare achievement with Sanju Samson, who also recorded consecutive T20I hundreds. Samson continued his stellar form, notching his third century in his last five innings. Together, the duo put on a phenomenal 210-run partnership for the second wicket, further solidifying India’s dominance.

India posted an imposing total of 284, giving South Africa a challenging target in the final match of the series.
