IND vs NZ: India-New Zealand teams reach Ranchi, bio bubble made from hotel to pavilion

India vs New Zealand 2nd T20: The second T20 match will be played between India and New Zealand tomorrow i.e. on November 19 in Ranchi. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the cricket lovers regarding this match. When both the teams reached Ranchi at four o’clock in the evening, there was a huge crowd of people along the roads from Birsa Munda Airport to the hotel to get a glimpse of the players. The police took both the teams to Hotel Radisson Blu located at Kadru More amid tight security cordon.

In view of Kovid, a bio bubble has been created in the players’ pavilion in this hotel and stadium since November 16. Hotel and pavilion staff have also been quarantined from the same date. No person is allowed to enter the hotel rooms and lobbies.

Soon after reaching the hotel on Thursday evening, some staff including the head coach of the New Zealand team left for the JSCA stadium. They will take stock of the pitch. Team India or New Zealand team is not expected to participate in the practice session. It is possible that on Friday morning some players of both the teams will take part in the short session.

Let us tell you that after almost 2 years, an international match will be played in the JSCA Stadium. Earlier in 2019, a Test match was played against India-South Africa at JSCA Stadium. The T20 match is happening here after almost 4 years. The last T20 match here was played between India and Australia on 7 October 2017.

Let us inform that Jharkhand State Cricket Association has compulsorily imposed the condition of showing certificate of both doses of Kovid or RTPCR negative report of date after November 15 for the spectators reaching the stadium. These reports will have to be shown to the investigation team present at the gate. At the same time, social distancing will have to be followed at the time of entry at the gate. It will be mandatory for the spectators to sit on the seat allotted to them. Bags of any kind will not be allowed to be brought into the stadium.

Strict security arrangements have been made in the stadium. Security has been tightened for the safety of the special guests who come to watch the match. The police have prepared a security cordon around the stadium. Around five hundred policemen will take charge of the security arrangements around the stadium. Strict instructions have been given to Ranchi Police to strictly interrogate the suspects. Apart from 500 soldiers, 3 SPs, 6 DSPs, 30 Inspectors and 70 Inspectors will take charge of the security. Police teams will also monitor the crowd through CCTV cameras. Only ticket and pass holders will be able to enter the stadium. Apart from this, more than 300 policemen will be deployed for the traffic system of the city.
