Opting to bowl first, Harmanpreet Kaur’s side could not make an early impact with the ball and New Zealand openers Suzy Bates and Sophie Devine gave the White Ferns a top start. Rajeshwari Gaikwad and Deepti Sharma removed them when the total crossed fifty, but Maddie Greene (26 off 20 balls) and Lee Tahuhu (27 off 14 balls, New Zealand scored 155/5 on the board) (IND vs NZ )
