Increase in the number of telecom subscribers in the country, the number of subscribers reached 1191 million

Telecom Subscribers in India: The number of telecom customers in the country has increased to 1191 million at the end of November 2021. This information has been received from the data of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). During this, the number of connections of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel has increased.

BSNL left behind
Jio has overtaken BSNL in terms of the number of fixed line broadband subscribers. The number of its connections in this section has gone up to 43.4 lakhs. Till now this sector was dominated by the public sector company.

Information found in monthly report
The total number of mobile subscribers in the country increased to 116.75 crores by the end of November. This information has been given in the monthly report of TRAI. There has been an increase in both mobile and fixed line connections during the month. The total number of mobile subscribers at the end of October, 2021 was 116.63 million.

Number of connections reached 4.8 crores
In the mobile segment, the number of connections of Reliance Jio has increased by 20,19,362 to 428 million. Bharti Airtel added 13,18,251 new mobile customers during this period. Vodafone Idea’s mobile connections declined by 18,97,050 to 26.71 crore.

How many connections lost?
Public sector BSNL has lost 2,40,062 connections during the month. At the same time, the number of subscribers of MTNL decreased by 4,318. The number of fixed line connections in the country increased to 2.35 crore in November. In October it was 2.33 crores.

Added 17.6 lakh customers in October
Let us tell you that India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio has added 17.6 lakh new subscribers to its customer base. The company has added these customers in the month of October. TRAI said that the number of customers has increased by 17.6 lakhs. At the same time, both Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea together have reduced by 14.5 lakh subscribers.
