Meerut News: According to the government records in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, the outbreak of dengue seems to be decreasing. On Monday, 12 dengue patients have been found. At the same time, the health department has breathed a sigh of relief due to the continuous decreasing number of dengue patients after Diwali. So far, 1481 dengue patients have been found in the district. Dengue spread faster in urban areas than in rural areas. So far, 121 dengue patients have been found in Maliana in the district, followed by Kankarkheda at the second place with 106 patients.

District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Akhilesh Mohan told tonight that 12 new dengue patients have been found in Meerut in the last 24 hours. Thus now the number of active dengue patients in Meerut has increased to 278. Of these, 63 patients are getting their treatment admitted in the hospital while 215 patients are getting their treatment at their homes.

According to the District Chief Medical Officer, the number of patients recovering from dengue has gone up to 1203 in Meerut. According to the Chief Medical Officer, the cases of corona in Meerut have also come down significantly. He said that in the last 24 hours only one corona positive has been found in 4654 samples tested. Whereas today four patients have become healthy. In this way, the number of active corona patients in Meerut has been reduced to four. Two of them are hospitalized while two patients are getting their treatment at their homes.

According to District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, due to festivals, the speed of vaccination had slowed down considerably. But from today the number of vaccinations has been increased. He said that the working people should not face any problem in getting vaccinated, so now vaccination will be done in two shifts in district hospital and medical college. The first shift will be from 9 am to 4 pm and the second shift will be from 4 pm to 8 pm.
