The Supreme Court is adopting a very strict tone regarding the smog in Delhi. The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR has ordered the closure of all thermal power plants within 300 km radius of Delhi till 30 November. However, 5 plants have been kept out of this order.

Except for essential goods, no truck will be able to enter the Delhi border. Diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years will not be able to ply in Delhi-NCR. Along with this, the use of diesel generator sets has also been banned in the entire NCR.
