[ad_1]

Air Pollution: The air pollution outside is now suffocating your wallet. Every year the onset of winter is increasing the difficulties of the people living in Delhi NCR. The reason is that during this time the pollution and poisonous air in the entire Delhi-NCR starts taking a toll on their breath.

This mist not only makes breathing difficult, but it also suffocates people’s wallets. You must be wondering what the wallet has to do with mist? You may not have thought this way, but the poison dissolved in the air has a direct effect on your wallet. It is not just us saying this, research also says the same.

These figures say

A December 2020 report published in the Lancent states that in 2019, 1.7 million people died in India due to toxic air, which accounts for 18 percent of the total deaths in the country. From an economic point of view, the loss of production in 2019 was 1.4 percent of GDP due to deaths and diseases due to poison dissolved in the air. If you measure it in rupees, then you will be surprised even more. This amount works out to Rs 2,60,000 crore. That is, the daily loss of the country is Rs 21,666 crore.

It can also be understood like this. About Rs 65,000 crore was allocated for health in the budget for the financial year 2020-21. In comparison, due to pollution alone, GDP has lost about four times more in a year.

ways to avoid damage

Experts believe that shifting to clean energy will have both health and economic benefits. It is not that only people living in Delhi-NCR are coming under the influence of poisonous air. Rather, most of the cities of India, and especially the metropolis, are heavily exposed to pollution. Now you must have understood that if poisonous air will have a bad effect on health, then your pocket will also be empty. But, not only your health, but also your wallet can be in trouble due to the measures to prevent pollution.

This year the matter is very serious

The Supreme Court is adopting a very strict tone regarding the smog in Delhi. The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR has ordered the closure of all thermal power plants within 300 km radius of Delhi till 30 November. However, 5 plants have been kept out of this order.

Except for essential goods, no truck will be able to enter the Delhi border. Diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years will not be able to ply in Delhi-NCR. Along with this, the use of diesel generator sets has also been banned in the entire NCR.

income barrier

The way the Supreme Court and strict measures are being taken to control pollution, the work of a large number of people can also be disturbed. If a lockdown has to be imposed in Delhi due to pollution, then the livelihood of people associated with small businesses will be hurt. That is, if the economic activities stop, then your breath of earning will start getting stuck.
