Central government imposed ban on PFI, action on organizations related to it

New Delhi . PFI Banned: Taking a big step, the central government has banned the Popular Front of India (PFI) surrounded in the terror funding case. According to the notification issued by the government, a 5-year ban has been imposed on PFI. Along with this, 8 other organizations associated with it have also been banned. Significantly, in connection with the Terror Funding case, raids are being conducted at different places of PFI in different places across the country. Hundreds of cadres were arrested in the raids that took place on September 22 and September 27. Which is also being protested.

PFI Banned: The central government has declared this organization illegal under the UAPA. The central government has imposed this ban on PFI on the charge of terror funding in the joint action of NIA-ED. According to the information, the Ministry of Home Affairs has taken this action after the investigating agencies got strong evidence of links with terror organizations.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the links of the PFI with the banned organization SIMI and JMB were found. After which this action was taken by the Centre. Let us tell you that PFI was formed in 2006. This organization was formed in Kerala and is headquartered in Delhi.

Action on 8 organizations associated with PFI
PFI Banned: Apart from APFI, the central government has also banned 8 affiliated organizations associated with it, taking action. Let us inform that, taking joint action in different states of the country, NIA-ED has raided the premises of PFI and arrested more than 200 activists.
