Like the 2016 T20 World Cup, the 2021 T20 World Cup will also have a bonus amount for each match in the Super 12 stage. The winning team in each of the 30 games of that stage is $40,000 this time with a total budget of $1,200,000.

The teams competing in the Super 12 stage are Afghanistan, Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies. The eight teams whose men’s T20 World Cup campaign ends in the Super 12 stage will automatically receive $70,000, for a total of $560,000. At the same time, the four teams eliminated in the first round will get $ 40,000. Teams whose campaigns start in the first round. They are Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, Netherlands, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Scotland and Sri Lanka.

DRS will be used for the first time in T20 World Cup

The ICC also said that there will be two scheduled drink breaks in each match of the Men’s T20 World Cup. The scheduled break will last for 2 minutes 30 seconds and will be taken in the middle of each innings. The Decision Review System (DRS) will also be used for the first time in the Men’s T20 World Cup. Each team will get a maximum of two DRS per innings in the match.
