WhatsApp Payment Features: WhatsApp Payments is a UPI-based service that was first launched in 2018 as part of beta testing. This feature was made available to all users of the country in November 2020. WhatsApp Payments has been developed in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and provides a real-time payment system in partnership with over 227 banks.
This service gives users the service of sending and receiving money instantly. The app also allows users to check the balance in their bank account. There are two ways to check your bank account balance. You can either check the balance from the Settings section on the app or check it from the payment screen while sending money. Here is a step by step guide to check your bank account balance using WhatsApp
Checking Your Account Balance From Settings
- First of all open WhatsApp on your phone.
- If you are using Android phone then tap on More option, iPhone users have to tap on Settings.
- Now tap on Payments.
- In the payment method, tap on the bank account whose balance you want to check.
- Now tap on View Account Balance and enter your UPI PIN.
- Your account balance will be on the screen of your phone.
Check Account Balance while sending money
- Tap on Payment Method on the Payment Message Screen.
- Now tap on View Account Balance.
- If you have linked more accounts with WhatsApp, then select the account whose balance is to be checked.
- Now enter the UPI PIN.
- Your account balance will be on the screen of your phone.
- To check account balance on WhatsApp, there is a condition that your bank account should be linked with WhatsApp Payment.
