Kedarnath Yatra will now be even easier, ropeway approved, 8 hours journey is now completed in 60 minutes

Dehradun | Kedarnath Ropeway: Kedarnath, the abode of Lord Bholenath located in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, is the center of faith for lakhs of devotees. Every year lakhs of devotees come here to visit Baba Kedarnath. In such a situation, now the devotees coming here are going to get a big relief. Here the ropeway has been approved from Kedarnath Dham to Sonprayag. The path of the devotees coming here by ropeway will become easier now.

Kedarnath Ropeway: With the construction of this ropeway, the distance between Sonprayag to Kedarnath Dham will be greatly reduced. For this yatra, it takes about 8 to 12 hours for the devotees on foot or by pony. But after the construction of the ropeway, this journey will be left for only one hour. Apart from this, Kedarnath foot track and Hemkund Sahib ropeway project have also been approved.

All this will be special – Kedarnath Ropeway:
The distance from Sonprayag to Kedarnath will be 13 km through ropeway.
The ropeway will be built at an altitude of 11,500 feet i.e. 3500 meters above sea level.
This ropeway will be one of the highest ropeway in the world.
The ropeway will cost Rs 1200 crore to build.
