Hostels equipped with modern facilities

Ranchi. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that 234 hostels in the state have been equipped with modern facilities. He said that now the children and youth of the deprived sections of the state would instead stay in ruins and stay in the well-equipped hostels.

The Chief Minister said that the days of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Minorities hostels, which have been waiting for their renovation since the formation of the state, have started to fade away. Out of 593 such hostels, 234 hostels have been given a new look after the order of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. These include 42 Scheduled Tribes, 96 Scheduled Castes, 47 Backward Classes and 92 Minority Hostels.

After the instructions of Chief Minister and Departmental Minister Champai Soren, the work of renovation of hostels of Welfare Department is being done. The Chief Minister has ordered to fill the vacant manpower at the earliest. At present, a total of 90 security guards and cooks are working.
