Gehlot took a dig at PM Modi

Jaipur. Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bowing down on his knees to the public in Rajasthan’s Abu Road, state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Saturday that Modi wants to appear more humble than him.

Gehlot said that instead of doing salutations like this, Prime Minister Modi should give the message of brotherhood and love to the countrymen. Along with this, Gehlot said that the Congress is still in a position to give a strong opposition in the country.

The Prime Minister came to Abu Road late on Friday night and addressed the people present there without a mic and bowed his knees thrice. When asked about this, Gehlot told reporters in Bikaner, “They know that Ashok Gehlot’s image is that of a very humble person in Rajasthan. Simple is of simplicity, which has been my image since childhood. So how will Modi ji counter this, he wants to look more humble than me.

Gehlot said that Prime Minister Modi should be humble but give the message of brotherhood, love and love to the countrymen and say that I will not tolerate violence at any cost in the country.
Gehlot said that he is not giving this message, he is not following my advice. And what do you want to tell by worshiping three times? We know that you are the Prime Minister of the country, you are respected. Had he made this appeal tomorrow, I would have telephoned him and congratulated him, Prime Minister, you have done very well. But he only worshiped. Why did you worship? Just to say that Ashok Gehlot is humble, so am I.

The Chief Minister said that the BJP and its allies have been shaken by Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and they have no point left to criticize it. Gehlot on Saturday observed the district level Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic sports events in Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar and addressed the people.
