Hindutva is the soul of India, that is why India became secular: Naqvi
Naqvi taunted, “Salman Khurshid’s party has only one problem, Congress has become such a non-performing asset that there is no value left inside and no value left outside.”
Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid has compared Hindutva with ISIS and Boko Haram in his book ‘Sunrise Over Ayodhya’, after which the debate on Hindutva has once again started in the country. When the anchor questioned Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in a news channel program on this related issue, he said, “Hindutva is the soul of India.”
Congress leaders Salman Khurshid and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi were present on the stage in Aaj Tak program ‘Agenda Aaj Tak’. During this, Anchor Anjana Om Kashyap, referring to the book of the Congress leader, asked the Union Minister, “Aapki toh banchhen will have bloomed, now Hindutva will also be in danger and Hindu will also be in danger.”
To this Naqvi said, “Hindutva is the soul of India. Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam is written in the Parliament of India whereas you know what is written in the Parliament of Pakistan. That is, it is the result of Hindutva’s rites, culture and Sanatani resolve that after partition, India became a secular country and it is the result of Pakistan’s thinking that the Islamic flag was hoisted there. It is the result of the strength and values of this Hindutva that today we talk about unity in diversity, Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
The Union Minister said, “When the country was divided, minorities lived in Pakistan from 24 percent, including Hindus, Sikhs, etc., whereas today minorities are 2 percent there. There were 8 per cent minorities in India then which is more than 22 per cent today. That is, Hindutva here did not allow any religion, any part of the society, any culture to separate it from its resolutions. He said, “As Khurshid Bhai was saying that whoever has the religion, sanskar and culture, he should flourish and move ahead with the nationalist thinking of India, but the problem is not this.”
Taking a jibe at the Congress, Naqvi said, “There is only one problem with Salman Khurshid’s party, Congress has become such a non-performing asset that there is no value left inside and no value left outside.”
The Union Minister said, “After the Ayodhya verdict, no one celebrated the victory and no one cried over the defeat. After this Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya and it is being accepted by all. After this, if after this Hindutva or the manner in which disputes are being created regarding Ayodhya, then there will definitely be a political mindset and motive behind it. .
