High court strict on the dilapidated condition of jails

Nainital, The Uttarakhand High Court has once again shown the mirror to the state government in the matter of reforms in prisons and rejected its demand and asked it to submit a compliance report in three weeks. The matter will come up for hearing on August 23.

In fact, on December 8, 2021, the Division Bench of the High Court, passing an important order, asked the government to take immediate corrective steps in the jails of the state and on the lines of Rajasthan (Rajsthan) to build an over air camp (jail) in the state. Important instructions were given.
