New Delhi | Heat Wave in India: In many states of the country, this time the scorching heat has already shown its effect. In many states of the country, the temperature has crossed 40 degrees and the Meteorological Department has just said that the heat will be more intense. Delhi-NCR has also started getting hot. However, a low pressure area persists over southeast Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm ‘Asni’ soon. Due to the effect of this storm, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the southern states.

Heat wave in Rajasthan
Heat Wave in India: This time in early March, there are heat wave conditions in many districts of Rajasthan. In many districts like Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, a yellow alert has been issued for heat and a heat wave warning has been given. Banswara and Barmer are witnessing the most havoc of summer, where the maximum temperature was recorded on March 17 at 43.4 degree Celsius. Apart from this, in some parts of Saurashtra-Kutch, Vidarbha and Gujarat, the heat wave has made people miserable. Apart from this, the temperature is continuously increasing in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh.

Heavy rain warning here
On the other hand, it is raining in the southern states. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain at some places of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there may be rain and snow in some parts of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir, while there is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well.
