Elon Musk bought Twitter

Washington, Tesla owner Elon Musk has bought Twitter. Musk has bought this loss-making micro blogging site for three lakh 37 thousand crores. After buying it, he has made a tweet, in which he has said that he will open source Twitter’s algorithm so that people’s trust increases. Describing freedom of expression as the basic need of democracy, he said that he will stop all fake accounts, identify every human being and will also free Twitter from bots.

Earlier, Twitter’s independent board chairman Brett Taylor announced the final seal of the deal after midnight Indian time on Monday. Musk will have to pay $ 54.20 i.e. more than 41 hundred rupees for every share of Twitter. He already holds a 9 per cent stake in Twitter and in that sense he was already the largest shareholder of Twitter.

After the new deal, he will have 100% stake in the company and Twitter will become his private company. Since the day Musk announced that he would have nine percent shares in Twitter, the price of its shares was increasing and now Musk has bought Twitter by paying 38 percent more than that time. Keep in mind Musk said last week that he had arranged $46.5 billion in finance to buy Twitter. After this, the board of Twitter took a fresh look at Musk’s offer.

On Sunday, an important meeting of Twitter’s board was also held to discuss Musk’s proposal. After that, it was reported late on Monday that Twitter’s board had approved Musk’s proposal. After this it was decided that Musk would be the new owner of Twitter. He became its owner late on Monday night. After this, he advocated for freedom of expression and also talked about unlocking Twitter.
