Gujarati actor Prateek Gandhi, who played the role of scamster Harshad Mehta in the web series Scam 1992 and gave a wonderful performance to his performance, will now play the role of Mahatma Gandhi in a web series. This web series series will have more than one season.
This series is being made by Apple’s Entertainment, the producer company of the scam serial. The story of this series will be drawn from Ramachandra Guha’s two books ‘Gandhi Before India’ and ‘Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World’.
Quiz show master Siddharth Basu will be roped in as a special expert to correct historical facts in the film. Hansal Mehta, director of Baptik Gandhi’s scam series, will also direct the Gandhi series.
It is worth noting that the preparations for the second season of Scam are on and the shooting will start soon. This season of scams includes the scams of Abdul Karim Telgi of Maharashtra.
