Who will become CM in Uttarakhand?

[ad_1]

Uttarakhand is an example of how coincidence and leader’s luck work in politics. In July last year, the BJP changed the chief minister for the third time and replaced Tirath Singh Rawat with two-time MLA Pushkar Singh Dhami. He did politics of change and eliminated anti incumbency from his youthful face. As a result, the party won the election but he himself lost from Khatima seat. Now the question is whether BJP will make him the Chief Minister again or will a new face be brought in? Keep in mind that the BJP has six former Chief Ministers in the state regarding Dhami. Will the party make the seventh chief minister or will any of the last six get a chance?

Three MLAs from Uttarakhand have offered to give up their seats for Dhami. He says that if the party has won in the name of Dhami, then he should be made CM. On the other hand, once again the discussion of the names of Dhan Singh Rawat and Satpal Maharaj has started. The name of party MLA Banshidhar Bhagat is also discussed. The name of former Chief Minister and former Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is also discussed, but the problem with him is that if he is made, he will have to contest elections by vacating any assembly seat. Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Joshi have given their reports. Dharmendra Pradhan and Piyush Goyal have been made observers. He has to get his stamp on the name that will be decided by the party leadership.
