Forgot iPhone password, know how to unlock

How To Unlock iPhone: We keep a password or passcode on our smartphone for safety and security reasons. Whether it is an Android device or iOS. This feature is available in every smartphone nowadays, but what if you yourself forget your iPhone password? How will you be able to unlock it? If you enter the wrong passcode multiple times to open your iPhone lock screen, an alert pops up telling you that your iPhone has been disabled. Here’s what you should do in such a situation.

Here is the unlocking process

step 1: Make sure you have a Mac or PC If you are using a PC, make sure that iTunes must be installed, as well as the computer must have Windows 8 or higher. You also need the cable that came with your phone, or another cable to connect your iPhone to a computer. If you do not have a computer and cannot take someone else’s, then you have to go to Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Step 2: Turn off your phone Unplug your phone on the computer If connected, turn off your iPhone to use this method.

Step 3: Put your iPhone in recovery mode. If you have phone X or later phone SE (2nd generation) and phone 8 or 8S then use the side button. Use Volume Down button on iPhone 7 and Phone 7 Plus. Use the Home button on iPhone SE first generation or 6S or other phones. Now you have to press and hold the right button and connect the phone to the computer. Press and hold the button until recovery mode is written on the screen. Keep in mind that if the screen asks for passcode, then turn off your phone and go through the recovery mode process again.

Step 4: Restore Your iphone: Find your phone in Finder or iTunes which is connected to computer, when you see Restore or Update button then select Restore. Now your computer is downloading the software to your iPhone and is in the restore process. If the download takes more than 15 minutes and your phone comes out of recovery mode then the download is over. Now turn off your iPhone and restart.

Step 5: Now wait for its process to finish. Disconnect your phone from the computer. Now setup your phone and use the iPhone.
