Government should discuss in Parliament about China’s actions: Mallikarjun Kharge

New Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has expressed strong objection to China’s provocative action on the border and said that the government should hold a debate on this issue in Parliament and take necessary steps by taking all parties into confidence. Kharge tweeted, China has done provocation with Indian Army soldiers and our soldiers have also given a befitting reply in which some soldiers have also been injured.

Describing national security security as paramount, he said, the whole country is one on the issue of national security and we will not politicize it, but the Modi government should be honest about the Chinese intrusion and the situation after April 2020 on LAC. The whole country should be taken into confidence by having a debate on this in the Parliament. We will always be indebted to the incomparable bravery and sacrifice of our jawans.

Jairam Ramesh, head of the Congress communication department, said that we are proud of the bravery of the Indian Army. China’s actions on the border are completely unacceptable. For the last two years, we have been repeatedly trying to wake up the government, but the Modi government is trying to suppress the matter only to save its political image. Due to this, the audacity of China is increasing. No one is bigger than the country, but Modi ji is putting the country in danger to save his image. In an attempt to make the intrusion in northern Ladakh permanent, China has built 200 permanent shelters within 15-18 km of the LAC in Depsang, But the government remained silent. Now this new worrying issue has come to the fore.
