WHO chief will visit India today over the controversy over the number of deaths from Corona

New Delhi | WHO Chief India Visit: The World Health Organization (WHO) chief is coming to visit India today for three days amidst ups and downs in new cases of corona in Corona. The WHO chief is touring India over the controversy raised after India’s objection to the calculation of deaths from Corona.

Government warned on Corona

Will participate in many programs with PM Modi
According to the information, during his three-day visit to Gujarat, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus will participate in many programs with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The WHO chief will attend the foundation stone-laying of the WHO’s Global Center on Traditional Medicine (GCTM) in Jamnagar along with PM Modi tomorrow. Apart from this, on Wednesday, WHO chief Ghebreyesus will also attend the inauguration of the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit with PM Modi in Gandhinagar.

WHO Chief India Visit: According to a report, the official figure of people who died of corona in India is 5.20 lakh but, WHO has reported more than 40 lakh deaths in India. Since then there has been a controversy. India has raised questions on the method of WHO to calculate the deaths due to corona. In such a situation, India is stopping the WHO from making public the figures of deaths due to corona worldwide. On behalf of the Union Health Ministry, it has been said that six letters have also been written to WHO regarding this.
