IPL 2021 Viewership: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah is pleased with the number of TV viewership in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and thanked the fans for supporting the tournament. IPL 2021 was suspended midway in May due to the Kovid-19 pandemic, as there were many cases of infection in India in a biologically safe environment. After this, the second half of IPL 2021 started in the United Arab Emirates this month and the interest of the fans is increasing due to which there has been a bumper increase in the number of viewers.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted, “I am happy to share that the viewership of IPL 2021 continues to increase. TV viewership is 38 crores (till 35th match) which will be in the same phase in 2020.
