BSF rescues 5 laborers trapped in mudslide, 1 dead

New Delhi. Several GREF workers were buried on Wednesday due to soil collapse in Punjab’s Amritsar. After the accident, the Border Security Force (BSF) rescued 5 jawans, out of which one died. This information has been given by BSF. BSF said that while working in Amritsar sector of Punjab, 5 laborers were trapped in an accident caused by mudslide.

All of them were laborers of GREF (General Reserve Engineer Force). After getting the information, the BSF personnel rescued 5 laborers. After being taken to the hospital, 1 of these laborers died. The BSF Punjab Frontier said that a GREF worker was killed in the incident. The remaining 4 laborers have been admitted to Dhawan Nursing Home. where they are being treated. (IANS)
