Yes, today is National Cinema Day. On this occasion, the Multiplex Association of India has decided to show films in cinema halls for just Rs 75, giving a special gift to the audience.

National Cinema Day: There is a lot of enthusiasm among filmmakers, actors and people associated with the film industry regarding ‘National Cinema Day’. In such a situation, film lovers can also add to their enthusiasm at less cost. On 23 September i.e. today, people have the opportunity to watch a film in cinemas across the country for just Rs 75. Under this, the film can be seen in about 4 thousand theaters for just Rs 75.

OTT platform stalled the business of cinemas
National Cinema Day: The changes taking place over time have now reduced the interest of the audience to theatres. In today’s time OTT platform is considered to be the best way of entertainment. In which the whole family sitting at home can take advantage of entertainment together at a low cost. In such a situation, people have stopped going to theaters. Due to which filmmaking also suffered. Due to this, the Multiplex Association of India has taken a big decision to give tickets to about 4 thousand theaters for just Rs 75 in order to bring the audience back to the cinema halls, so that the crowd of people can be increased in theaters again. The film industry is speculating that by getting cheap tickets, people will be attracted to the cinema hall, which will give big benefits.

Let us tell you that ‘Cinema Day’ being celebrated on 23 September was earlier to be celebrated on 16 September. But later its day was fixed as 23 September.
