Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme: If you are also planning to buy cheap gold, then there is good news for you. The Central Government is giving you a chance to buy cheap gold. The Eleventh Series of Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22 is opening from January 10, 2022, in which you can buy gold at lower rates than the market. Sovereign gold bond is issued by RBI.
When can you apply?
You can apply for this scheme within 5 days. This scheme will open on January 10 and close on January 14.
How much will the price be?
If we talk about the price of gold, then the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has fixed the issue rates for the new series of Government Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22. In this series you can buy gold at Rs 4,786 per gram.
50 rupees discount
Apart from this, if you pay through digital mode in this series, then investors will get a discount of Rs 50 per gram. So according to this you will get it at the rate of Rs 4,736 per gram.
Where can I buy these bonds?
If we talk about buying it, then investors can buy it through Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), post office and recognized stock exchanges, NSE and BSE. Let us tell you that they are not sold in Small Finance Bank and Payment Bank.
Know how much you can buy gold?
If we talk about maximum investment in this, then you can buy maximum 4 kg gold bonds. Apart from this, if we talk about trust or any institution, then it can buy bonds of up to 20 kg.
What is Sovereign Gold Bond?
Let us tell you that this is a kind of government bond. This scheme is issued by RBI. The government started it in the year 2015. You can buy it in the form of weight of gold. If this bond is of 5 grams, then you understand that its price will be equal to 5 grams of gold.
