According to Civil Aviation Secretary Rajiv Bansal, the operations of long-time affected international flights can be normal by the end of the year. In fact, in March 2020, the government had suspended International Passenger Flights after the Corona epidemic knocked in the country.

However, the government has started International Flight Service by entering into Air Bubble Agreement with some selected countries. At present, there are 31 countries with which international passenger flights are being operated under bubble agreements. Singapore will be the 32nd country in this, with which international flight service is resuming from November 29. In fact, after the relaxation of restrictions in view of Corona and increased coverage of Corona Vaccination, flight has started under Air Bubble Arrangement. At present, international flights are suspended till 30 November.

Vaccination coverage will increase further by December, as well as the cases of corona are continuously decreasing in the country, so the discussion of normalizing international flights started. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that he is in talks with the Ministries of Home and Health to resume scheduled international flights. No decision has been taken yet due to the resurgence of Kovid cases in some countries. It is expected that soon a decision will be taken through Inter-Ministerial Discussion.

Domestic flights of international flights were also suspended during the lockdown. However, after a break of two months, domestic flight operations were started in May 2020 with limited capacity. But from the month of October, domestic flights have been allowed to fly at full capacity.
