Gold rate today: There has been a tremendous jump in the price of gold and silver, gold has become expensive by so many rupees.
Gold rate today: Gold rose by Rs 487 to Rs 52,566 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Thursday amid a surge in precious metals in the international market. Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 52,079 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. Silver also rose by Rs 426 to Rs 58,806 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 58,380 per kg in the previous trading session.
The boom in the international market also returned
In the international market, gold was trading with gains at $ 1,774 an ounce. Silver was steady at $20.12 an ounce. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold was trading 0.58 per cent higher at $1,774 an ounce in Comex. Due to this, the prices of gold also increased here.
Gold futures prices jump
Gold prices on Thursday rose by Rs 572 to Rs 51,961 per 10 grams in futures market as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October rose by Rs 572, or 1.11 per cent, to Rs 51,961 per 10 grams. It had a business turnover of 16,129 lots. Market analysts said buying of fresh positions by participants led to the rise in gold futures prices. Globally, gold rose 0.75 per cent to Rs 1,789.40 an ounce in New York.
Silver futures prices rise
Silver prices on Thursday rose by Rs 554 to Rs 58,108 per kg in futures market as participants increased their positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in September rose by Rs 554, or 0.96 per cent, to Rs 58,108 per kg. It had a turnover of 17,057 lots. Market analysts said fresh positions in the market due to a bullish trend in the domestic market mainly led to the rise in silver prices at futures trade. Globally, silver rose 0.91 per cent to USD 20.08 an ounce in New York.
