Gold Rate Today: The price of gold and silver declined, know what is the price of 10 grams of gold today
Gold Rate Today: If you are thinking of buying gold and silver then there is good news for you. Gold fell by Rs 53 to Rs 52,340 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Wednesday due to fall in precious metals in international markets and improvement in rupee value.
In the last trading session, the price of gold was Rs 52,393 per 10 grams. During this, the price of silver also fell by Rs 256 to Rs 57,957 per kg. In the last trading session, silver had closed at Rs 58,213 per kg. In the international market, gold declined to $1,772 an ounce while silver remained almost unchanged at $19.96 an ounce.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “The trading range in gold remained stable on mixed global cues and strengthening of the dollar.”
Gold futures prices up by Rs 14
Speculators created fresh positions, due to which gold rose by Rs 14 to Rs 51,851 per 10 grams in the futures market on Wednesday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October rose by Rs 14, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 51,851 per 10 grams. It had a business turnover of 15,319 lots. Market analysts said buying of fresh positions by participants led to the rise in gold futures prices. Globally, gold fell 0.05 per cent to Rs 1,788.80 an ounce in New York.
Copper futures fall
Copper futures on Wednesday fell by 2.70 per cent to Rs 664 per kg in futures trade as participants offloaded their positions on weak demand in the domestic market. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for supply in August declined by Rs 2.70, or 0.4 per cent, to Rs 664 per kg for the month of supply. It had a turnover of 5,747 lots. Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators amid subdued demand at the spot market, mainly led to the fall in copper futures.
