Gautam Gambhir wrote, ‘I have been found corona positive after mild symptoms. All the people who have come in contact with me, get their test done and stay safe. Let us tell you that Gautam Gambhir is a Lok Sabha MP from East Delhi. He is also the mentor of the new IPL team Lucknow Supergiants. Gautam Gambhir retired from international cricket in 2018. He played 54 Tests, 147 ODIs and 37 T20Is for India. He was part of the team that won the 2007 and 2011 World Cups.

Gambhir won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, fighting on a BJP ticket. He is an MP from East Delhi. He has also been the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. Under his captaincy, KKR became champion in 2012 and 2014.
