During the hearing of the controversy, Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice JK Maheshwari have given suggestions to the producer of the film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The court has also told the producer that we have given this suggestion because many cases have been registered across the country for banning this film for a year.

Gangubai’s adopted son has lodged an objection

He had also raised the issue in the Mumbai High Court and had also sued the author of the novel Katha The Mafia Queens and Mumbai along with actress Alia Bhatt.
