New Delhi. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari believes that the G20 presidency is a good opportunity for India to show its strength to the world.
Addressing the 14th International Conference on the theme New Horizon Beaks organized by the Bahrain Chapter of ICAI (BCICAI) here on Friday, he said that India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world.
India has officially taken over the presidency of the G20 from December 1. It is a group of developed and developing countries of the world.
Gadkari said, it is our dream to make India a $5 trillion economy. India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world and there are huge number of opportunities available here. He said, today a large number of investors want to invest in India.
India’s biggest strength is the large presence of young and talented engineers. Gadkari said that at present the size of the country’s automobile industry is Rs 7.5 lakh crore. In the next five years it will be Rs 15 lakh crore.
We will be number one as a vehicle manufacturing hub in the world, he said. He said that the Indian economy is growing well and it is a good destination for investment.
