Four terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Four terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama and Baramulla districts on Tuesday. Giving this information, the police said that one of these terrorists belonged to the Jaish-e-Mohammed group. A police spokesman said that following information about the presence of militants, security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Tulibal village in Sopore area of ​​Baramulla district. The operation turned into an encounter as the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. He said that two unidentified terrorists were killed in the encounter. The campaign was on till the writing of these lines. The second encounter took place in Tujjan area of ​​south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, in which two terrorists were killed, the spokesman said.

Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that one of the slain terrorists has been identified as Majeed Nazir, who was associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. He said that a few days ago, sub-inspector Farooq Ahmed Mir was killed, in which Nazir was involved.
