Pune: Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has targeted the Uddhav Thackeray government over the attack on BJP leader Kirit Somaiya.
Fadnavis said that Kirit Somaiya had officially informed the police that he was coming to Khar police station to meet Independent MP Navneet Rana.
After meeting at the police station, Kirit Somaiya told the police that he was going to be attacked by Shiv Sainiks outside.
Therefore, the crowd should be removed from outside the police station, but the police did not remove the crowd and they were attacked.
Devendra Fadnavis said that law and order has collapsed in the state.
Kirit Somaiya has been provided Z+ security.
Even after this, she is not able to give them security.
