According to the survey, 43 per cent of the people will spend between Rs 15,000 to Rs 1 lakh on purchases during festivals. At the same time, 9 per cent said that they would spend more than Rs 1 lakh. Last year, only five per cent consumers wanted to spend more than Rs 1 lakh.
