Ind vs NZ: The second match of the India and New Zealand Test Series (Ind vs NZ Test Series) is being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. On the first day of the game, Team India scored 221 runs at the loss of 4 wickets till the stumps. Indian captain Virat Kohli’s bat did not play in this innings and was dismissed without opening an account. He went LBW off spinner Ejaz Patel. However, questions are being raised on the decision to give Kohli out.
Virat Kohli opted for DRS soon after being given out by the on-field umpire. The third umpire (Virender Sharma) looked at the replays from different angles and it appeared that the ball had hit the bat and the pad simultaneously. Since Virender Sharma did not have evidence to overturn the on-field umpire’s decision, Kohli had to return to the pavilion. However, fans are sharing pictures and videos on Twitter, which shows that the ball hit the bat first. He is upset with Virender Sharma’s controversial umpiring decision. Fans are trolling the umpire.

Talking about the score on the first day of the match, India has scored 221 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. Opener Mayank Agarwal has scored 120 runs in 246 balls and Wriddhiman Saha has scored 25 runs in 53 balls.
