But today his reaction has come to the fore and he has thanked the people of UP despite the defeat.

Akhilesh Yadav has thanked the people of UP in spite of the defeat and while expressing his gratitude to the public, said that this time the people have increased the seats of SP as compared to 2017. For which thanks to the people of the state.

People increased the seats of SP by two and a half times
Akhilesh Yadav has said while tweeting that, Hearty thanks to the people of UP for increasing our seats by two and a half times and vote percentage by one and a half times! We have shown that BJP seats can be reduced. This reduction of BJP will continue. More than half the confusion and delusion has been cleared, the rest will be done in a few days. The struggle for public interest will win!

After the result, the math of seats remained like this
Let us tell you that for a majority in the 403-member Uttar Pradesh assembly, at least 202 seats were needed. In which SP has won 111 seats alone. On the other hand, the BJP alliance has won 273 seats. Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party could win one seat. Whereas, SP’s ally Rashtriya Lok Dal has won 8 seats and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party has won 6 seats. The Congress party is also a collapse here and has won only two seats.
