Will there be a Chautala family?

After the results of the Rajya Sabha elections in Haryana, many possibilities are being discussed, but an important possibility has arisen that the Chautala family can be one. Efforts are being made for the last few days. Now it seems that a concrete step has been taken in that direction. The lone MLA of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Abhay Chautala cast his vote for independent candidate Kartikeya Sharma. This in itself is a sign that the campaign to unite the Chautala family has gone ahead. Keep in mind that Karthikeya Sharma was made a candidate by the Jannayak Janata Party, which is included in the Haryana government. He was an independent but was nominated by 10 JJP MLAs. Jannayak Janata Party is Dushyant Chautala, son of Ajay Chautala, brother of Abhay Chautala.

Given the kind of enmity that existed in the Chautala family until recently, it was difficult to imagine that Abhay Chautala would vote for Dushyant Chautala’s candidate. Before voting, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress leaders were in full confidence that Abhay Chautala would not vote for anyone. But he voted for the candidate supported by Dushyant Chautala. After this the possibility of coming together of both the families has increased. It is being told that as long as Omprakash Chautala was out of jail, he kept trying to unite the family. Now they have gone to jail again. But efforts are underway. One hurdle in that is about the party leadership. Dushyant Chautala’s brother Digvijay Chautala says that if JJP and INLD are one, then the command of the party will be in the hands of his father, Ajay Chautala. On the other hand, INLD leaders want that Dushyant is the Deputy Chief Minister, so the command of the party should remain in the hands of Abhay Chautala. After Abhay Chautala’s vote in the Rajya Sabha elections, it seems that a solution will be found soon.
