The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has received a threatening email. According to the information, this email has been sent to the New Zealand Cricket Board (NZC). Let us tell you that the New Zealand women’s cricket team is currently on a tour of England. The team has arrived here to play a series of 3 T20 and 5 One Day matches. Nothing has been written directly about the New Zealand women’s cricket team in the email sent to the ECB. However, NZC is taking this matter very seriously.
Let us tell you that the New Zealand women’s cricket team will land in Leicester today to play the third ODI against England. As a precaution, the security of the team has been increased before this match. Let us tell you that recently the New Zealand men’s cricket team canceled its tour of Pakistan. After this, the ECB also announced yesterday that both the men’s and women’s teams of England will not tour Pakistan. The New Zealand Cricket Board had decided to pull its team out of Pakistan just before the start of the first ODI after receiving security threats.
New Zealand denied reports of cancellation of practice
