Early elections if JDU-BJP stay together

Although Nitish Kumar’s going with RJD is said to be fixed, but if it does not happen that BJP succeeds in keeping RJD and JDU separate in some way like Sama, Daam, Dand, Bhed, then assembly elections in Bihar. will be ahead of time. According to sources in the BJP, if Lalu Prasad instead of forming the government in concern of his family, keeps sitting in the opposition and does not coordinate with JDU, then the assembly elections can be held along with the Lok Sabha in May 2024. Keep in mind that the Bihar assembly elections are to be held at the end of 2025 but BJP leaders are not ready to take the risk till that time. A senior BJP leader said in an informal conversation that if we wait till November-December 2025, both BJP and JD(U) will be reduced to 40 seats and RJD will get 200 seats.

Only then is the BJP’s plan that if the election is contested on the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the Lok Sabha elections, then at that time Modi’s name will get the benefit and the alliance will win the election. In that BJP hopes that it will win more seats. In the last election also BJP had won 74 seats and JD(U) 43 seats. It is worth mentioning that the main opposition party in Bihar is RJD but most of the fight is between JDU and BJP. The leaders of the BJP make more attacks against the Nitish government. They have defamed the government, so they feel that if Nitish will suffer more in the next election, then it will automatically become an opportunity for the BJP. BJP knows that it will not be able to fight alone in Bihar, so it has to keep Nitish along and also bring Chirag Paswan back in NDA. On one hand BJP is in this effort and on the other hand Nitish Kumar is in a hurry to change the alliance.
