New Delhi | Ram Navami 2022: The birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram was celebrated with great pomp across the country. On the occasion of Ram Navami, processions were taken out at various places. Devotees have darshan of the tableaux taken out in the procession of Lord Shri Ram. But on the procession of Ram Navami, there was a ruckus in many states. Somewhere there have been reports of arson and stone pelting on the procession. There is also news of the death of a person in Gujarat in the same incident. In Mankhurd area of Mumbai, some people created ruckus on Ram Navami. They ransacked 20 to 25 vehicles and fled. The Mumbai Police personnel, who arrived soon after the incident, pacified the matter and sent people to their respective homes.

Violence, stone pelting, many shops set on fire in Gujarat

Attack with sharp weapons in Jharkhand, many injured
Dozens of people were injured in stone pelting and sharp weapons attack on a procession during Ram Navami procession near Hirahi Bhokta Garden area of Jharkhand’s Lohardaga district. After which a large number of police forces have been deployed.

curfew in Madhya Pradesh
During the Ram Navami procession in Khargone town of Madhya Pradesh, miscreants started throwing stones at the procession. After which four houses were destroyed in the arson. To stop the riots, the police had to impose curfew in Talab Chowk, Gaushala Marg, Motipura, behind the stadium, in the Tower area. A police officer was also injured in this incident. The miscreants have vandalized the Sheetla Mata temple. At the same time, after the disturbance in West Bengal, the police had to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd.
