Paints Price Hiked : Even though the common people have got a shock due to the increase in the price of paints. But after the decision to increase the prices of paints companies, there was a tremendous increase in the stocks of paints companies listed in the stock market. Stocks of paints companies like Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Akzo Nobel and Indigo Paints saw buying by investors. So the investors investing in the shares of paints companies have made huge profits.
Great jump in the shares of Paints companies
The country’s largest paints company Asian Paints is trading at Rs 3,102.75 with a gain of 4.71 per cent, while Berger Paints is trading at Rs 740 with a jump of 1.06 per cent, Indigo Paints is trading at Rs 2422 with a gain of 1.40 per cent. In fact, for a long time, the shares of paints companies were trading in a limited range due to the decrease in profits after the increase in cost. But after the increase in the price of paints, it is believed that these stocks may rise further.
Paint prices may increase further.
As of now, only Asian Paints and Berger Paints have decided to hike the prices. From November 12, these companies are going to increase the prices of paints by 7 to 10 percent. It is believed that other paint companies can also follow in their footsteps and increase the price in the coming days. This is the biggest increase in the prices of paints since 2008. However, many brokerage houses, including market experts, are of the view that paint companies will have to increase prices by up to 5 per cent more to bridge the margins. If this happens, then the shares of paints companies may continue to shine.
