These banks are providing the facility of many more financial transactions ranging from cash pickup for depositing cash, cash delivery for withdrawing cash and check deposit. Different charges are taken for these. Although banks had started these facilities for senior citizens and differently-abled, but in some banks, anyone can take advantage of them.

How to avail doorstep banking facility
For these services, you can take advantage of the facility of doorstep delivery by talking to the customer care of the banks or by following the instructions given by visiting the banks’ website. Recently, many banks had also provided this service to their senior citizens for submission of life certificates.

what are the charges
There is a difference in the charges of different banks. For example, HDFC Bank is charging Rs 200 + tax for cash pickup and delivery. Currently, HDFC is providing this service to senior citizens only. Cash delivery will be done for a minimum of Rs 5000 and a maximum of Rs 25,000. Doorstep banking facility is being provided with a charge of Rs 100 + tax for any other financial transactional service.

Know the charges of SBI also
SBI is charging Rs 100 + tax for financial transactions i.e. financial transactions and Rs 60 + tax for non-financial transactions under the banking service sitting at home.

Service of PNB and Kotak Mahindra Bank
Punjab National Bank’s home-based banking service is for senior citizens above 70 years of age and Kotak Mahindra Bank provides this service to citizens of 60 years and differently abled.

Update of ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank
ICICI Bank has temporarily stopped this service during the Kovid period and Kotak Bank has also informed that its service is being affected.
