The CSE has said that only 43 cities with NCAP have sufficient PM 2.5 data for 2019-2021, which is sufficient to monitor progress. CSE says that after the Kovid lockdown in the country, there has been the fastest increase in pollution levels in Mumbai. At the same time, the pollution level in Chennai has decreased after Kovid.
