Delhi Capitals made special preparations for UAE, coach claims to start anew

IPL 2021: The second part of the Indian Premier League season 14 is going to be organized from 19 September. The arrival of Delhi Capitals in the playoffs seems almost certain. However, Delhi Capitals has made a special plan for the second part of IPL 14. Delhi Capitals coach Praveen Amre said that his team will start like a new tournament in the changed circumstances in the second phase of IPL 14 to be held in UAE.

The IPL was postponed in May due to the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in India and many cases were found in the bio-secure environment of the IPL. Its second phase will start in UAE from 19 September. Delhi’s team is currently at the top of the points table with 12 points from eight matches.

Amre says that now the circumstances have changed a lot. Amre said, “We are looking at the rest of the season as a fresh start. There has been a long rest after the first leg and we are playing on changed conditions and wickets.

Question about captaincy persists

Amre says that his team will show full spirit in the second half of IPL 14. “We will start afresh and will not be complacent in any way. We will show the same kind of enthusiasm and passion as we showed in the first match of IPL 2021.

Let us tell you that the team of Delhi Capitals had traveled to the final in the tournament played in UAE last year. However, a new problem has arisen in front of Delhi Capitals regarding the captain. In the first part of IPL 14, Shreyas Iyer could not play due to injury and the command of the team was given to Rishabh Pant. Shreyas Iyer is now going to return to the team. Delhi Capitals has not yet taken any decision regarding the captain.
