New Delhi. December 10 has special significance in terms of human rights protection. This day is celebrated as International Human Rights Day. The United Nations declared December 10 as Human Rights Day in 1950, with the aim of making people around the world aware of the importance of human rights and giving a message to be aware of its observance.
