Three VIP MLAs went to BJP in Bihar

Patna. In a big political development in Bihar, BJP has included three MLAs of its ally VIP. Vikas Insaan Party leader and state government minister Mukesh Sahni has got a big setback. Significantly, there was a dispute between the two parties for the last few days over contesting elections in Uttar Pradesh. That dispute came to an end on Wednesday. All three VIP MLAs went with the BJP.

Earlier, the BJP had fielded its candidate on the seat vacated by the death of one of the VIP MLAs, Musafir Paswan. Now the remaining three MLAs have been included with them. All the three MLAs of the VIP met the Speaker on Wednesday and informed about joining the BJP. Apart from these three MLAs, there is one MLC Mukesh Sahni himself. However, Sahni’s tenure as MLC is going to be completed in a few weeks. After this, no MLA or MLC of VIP will be left in Bihar.

However, all three MLAs of Mukesh Sahni’s party – Raju Singh, Mishri Lal and Swarna Singh – joined the BJP. He had met the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly for the merger of his legislature party with the BJP. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Tar Kishore Prasad and BJP State President Sanjay Jaiswal were also present. This will not change the power equation, but leaving the RJD behind, the BJP will become the single largest party in the assembly.
