Three jawans martyred in terrorist attack

Srinagar, After a long time in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists carried out a major fidayeen attack on the security forces. Three jawans were martyred and two jawans were also injured in the attack which took place in the early hours of Thursday. The terrorists attacked the army camp in Darhal of Rajouri by marking them. The terrorists tried to carry out the Uri-like incident by conducting a fidayeen attack. Three jawans were martyred in this attack and two terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by the army.

There were some attacks on the security forces during patrolling but the incident of targeting the army camp in this way has happened after a long time. However, the jawans who were injured in the fidayeen attack have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, ADG Mukesh Singh said- Some people tried to enter an army camp in Darhal, Rajouri. Then firing started from both the sides. He said that additional security forces were sent to the spot.

Significantly, a day earlier on Wednesday, three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district. Latif Rather was also involved in the killing of Kashmiri Pandit employee Rahul Bhat last May. The police had given this information.
