Coronavirus In Uttar Pradesh: In order to stop the growing impact of Corona in Uttar Pradesh, now the state government has started the work of vaccination for the youth of 15 to 18 years. So far 7,85,766 first doses of vaccine have been given, which is about 5.61 percent of their estimated number. Thus, including all age groups, 20,67,84,949 doses of vaccine have been given so far.

Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that a total of 1,96,502 samples were tested in the state yesterday. 1,19,397 samples have been sent from different districts for RTPCR test. There have been 3121 new cases of coronavirus in uttar pradesh. A total of 9,39,89,785 samples have been tested so far in the state. He said that so far a total of 16,88,105 people have been cured of Kovid-19 (corona recovered patients in uttar pradesh). There are a total of 8224 active corona cases in Uttar Pradesh in the state.
14,17,910 corona doses given in the state on 5 January
Prasad said that the work of Corona Vaccination in Uttar Pradesh is being done continuously. On January 5, 14,17,910 doses were given in a day in the state yesterday. In the state yesterday, 12,98,89,556 people have been given the first dose, which is 88.11 percent of the people above 18 years of age. The second dose is 7,61,09,627 which is 51.63 percent of the people above 18 years of age. So far, a total of 20,59,99,183 doses have been given to people above 18 years.

Prasad said that so far 7,85,766 first doses of vaccine have been given to children in the age group of 15 to 18 years, which is about 5.61 percent of their estimated number. Thus, including all age groups, 20,67,84,949 doses of vaccine have been given so far. Prasad said that those who are in home isolation should follow the rules of home isolation. If necessary, they will be admitted to the hospital. There is no need to panic or be intimidated. He told the people that everyone must get their Kovid vaccination done.
