New Delhi | Corona New Variant XE in Gujarat: Now in India too, the danger of new variant XE of Corona seems to be increasing continuously. After the knock of this variant in Mumbai, now it has been entered in Gujarat as well. The Ministry of Health has confirmed this. In such a situation, now two patients of Corona’s deadly variant XE have appeared in India. At the same time, there has been some increase in the decreasing corona cases in the country today. Along with this, there has also been a big jump in the number of deaths. During the last 24 hours in India, 1150 new cases have been reported and 83 people have died.

XE was first found in Britain, more deadly than Amicron
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the new variant XE of Corona was first found in Britain on 19 January. After which it spread and reached many more countries. Since then more than 600 cases have been confirmed. At present, this variant is causing havoc in China as well. Researchers have described this variant as 43 percent more lethal than Omicron.

Woman found suffering from XE variant in Mumbai

The woman had returned to India from Saudi Arabia on February 10. After which his sample was sent for genome sequencing. Then this new variant was revealed.
